If you’re new to urLive, you want to make it easy for other people to call you. This article shows you how.
Expanding your network is an iterative process. It takes time to get people to add a new communication platform to their toolbox. But the great thing about urLive is, that callers don’t need to download a new platform, create a new account or even log in. You just need to share your urLive link – that’s it!
To make it easy, we created a panoply of options. Your contacts can choose the best way for them to call you.
- urLive Member Calls from their contact list
- One-click calling
- Zero-click calling
- Share URL from desktop
- Share URL button on the mobile app
- Call Me Now Link on the mobile app
urLive Member Calls from their contact list
We think this is the easiest option: the other person opens your profile page and starts a call. For this to work, the other person must first add you to their contact list.
Adding a new contact
To add a person to the contact list:
- Go to the My Calls page and click Add Contact.
- Enter a name (or partial name) in the search bar.
- Scroll through the list, locate the name, and then click the Add Contact icon.
The person now appears on the CONTACTS page.
Starting a call
To call a contact from their profile page:
- Go to the My Calls page, click the CONTACTS menu tab.
- Locate the contact and click the url.live link.
- On the contact’s profile page, select a call option (voice, video, or chat).
One-click calling
Other people can call you with a single click of your urLive link. What’s the best part? You can share your link just about anywhere.
Websites
Add the link to text or images on a web page or inside a sidebar widget.
Add the link to an email message. For maximum convenience, place the link inside a custom email signature.
SMS
Paste the link inside an SMS message.
Over the phone
There’s beauty in simplicity. That’s why we like the urLive link naming system. It’s so easy to understand, you can share it by saying the url address on the phone.
Try reading a Zoom link over the phone:
